Lessons

TJ Terricola began playing music at age 10. He attended Potsdam State College in New York, graduating with a degree in music education and then going on to study jazz for two years at the Berklee School of Music in Boston.

TJ came to Palm Beach County, Florida in 1985. He played guitar for well-known orchestras led by Marshall Grant and Ted Knight, and played for studio recording dates as well. Now playing with a Jazz band called Hook, you can see TJ play around PB County. Look us up at: http://www.myspace.com/stanshands

In 1986, TJ became a full-time music teacher at Boca Raton Middle School while teaching private music lessons in the evening. He left the school system in 1988 to open Kola Music Studios in Lantana, and added a second location in the Wellington area in 1989. Today the main location is in Wellington working with long time friend, Lee Harris.

Students can benefit not only from his lessons but from a series of instructional posters designed by TJ called "Teacher Charts," they cover chords and scales for guitar, bass, and keyboard.

Today TJ is offering private music lessons for guitar and piano for children and adults.
